God has made every one of us for a purpose. You were given life so that you could bring God pleasure. Being reconnected to God through his Son gives our lives that meaning we were always intended to have. We have purpose and direction when we have a relationship with God. We are accepted by the only One that really matters. Knowing that we are special to Him, we find real happiness in life. Our most important needs in life are having good relationships with God, with other people, and having a meaningful way to serve. These are REAL needs, because your life is REAL, and you need REAL answers.

Some people stay away from church because they might feel it has no relevance for helping them get through life. Others stay away because they are sure it will only make them feel guilty about themselves. At Cross of Life, we want to show you that church IS relevant and will offer you MORE JOY THAN GUILT. In fact, that's our motto: MORE JOY THAN GUILT! But it isn't any "church" who offers you this! It is a relationship with Jesus that offers you this joy. Some people try keeping away from church because they are convinced it will just make them feel guilty and bad about themselves. That would keep me away from church too! That is not what Cross of Life offers you. It offers more joy than guilt because that is what our loving God offers us! He has taken the guilt we struggle with and lifted it off of our backs! Oh, yeah, we all have guilt. No one is perfect. And the Bible backs that up. But the Joy that God gives us free of charge always defeats the reason for our guilt. Do you want to hear more?
