LAND CELEBRATION SUNDAY!  In thankful response to God's goodness in allowing us to purchase land, we are holding a special CELEBRATION WORSHIP SERVICE and BRUNCH next Sunday, May 18.  Everyone is invited: friends, relatives, co-workers, schoolmates, etc.  Spread the news and let's make this a celebration to remember.  If you would like to bring something for the brunch, please speak to Jo-Ann Mitchell or Marcia Russell. 

THE WALKERS are thanking God this week for the gift of their newborn son, Josiah Matthew, who was received with joy on Wednesday morning at Milton Hospital.  Josiah's second birth in baptism will take place Sunday, May 18.    

SOCCER CAMP THIS SUMMER!  Dates are July 7-11.  The theme this year is How Beautiful the Feet.  Mark the dates down and plan on having your children there for this wonderful experience!  If you are interested in helping out, please speak with Pastor Schulz.  All who helped last year, please speak with pastor if you wish to help again!  Thanks!

PASTORAL INTERN  We have been approved for our request for a pastoral intern.  Known as a “vicar,” a student in his third year of training at our Seminary for training pastors, a man will be assigned to serve in our congregation for one year.  His primary purpose of being here will be his training in preaching and teaching and other pastoral duties. Secondary to that, our congregation will also benefit from his work among us.  He will arrive here in August and serve until the following August.  God-willing, he will be assigned on May 20.

ANGELS AND DEMONS—Bible Study.  We live in a world that is so interested and curious about the supernatural world—the world we can’t see.  The world of angels and demons.  Come see what God’s Word tells us about these things in our Sunday morning Bible studies.  Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM!  See you next Sunday!

KIDS 4 CHRIST SUNDAY SCHOOL meets every Sunday at 9:30.  Your children will thank you for bringing them!

TEEN BIBLE STUDY is every other Sunday at 9:30!  Come on out and give it a try! You won't be disappointed!

L.I.F.E. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – Thursday Mornings – 9:30 AM!  Come grow in God’s Word with other women!

BIBLES 4 FRIENDS Do you have a spiritually curious co-worker, spouse, neighbour, or friend who could use a Bible?  If so, consider giving them one of the brown Bibles out front.  They are FREE for the taking so that you can distribute as you see the need.  However, if you would like to leave a donation to cover the cost, please see Kevin Walker.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BECOMING A COMMUNICANT MEMBER here at Cross of Life, we would love to go through a few Bible studies with you to share what this means of God’s grace is all about and why it is so important. Pastor is willing to set up these Bible classes in any setting that would be most comfortable for you – single, couple, group, your home, the church office, etc. We can always find a time that will work!
