FAREWELL to our pastoral intern, Peter Hagen. Today is his last Sunday as our intern, and we have to say goodbye as he heads back to finish his final year of schooling for the ministry at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.  He has been a blessing to our congregation, and no doubt we will miss him.  Be sure to wish him God's blessings today and keep him in your prayers.  Come join us at our picnic today to bid him a proper farewell.

CHURCH PICNIC Join us for a special day of picnicking on our land TODAY at 1:00pm.  It will be a potluck-style occasion.  You bring a dish or item to pass and your own drinks.  Cross of Life will supply hot dogs and hamburgers.  A sign-up list is out front to let us know what you are bringing.  Also, we need help with transporting BBQ's to the land.  If you can help, please let Kevin know.  We hope you all can make it!

WORSHIP TEAM  Our worship life as a Christian congregation is something we all can be involved in.  Our church has grown, and God has brought people here (maybe like you) who have gifts in music and the arts that could be put to good use in our worship life.  It's time to get you involved!  We're creating a worship team!  Speak to Pastor today!

INTRODUCTORY BIBLE STUDY If you are interested in having Pastor give you an overview of what the Bible is all about, and help you develop skills for reading and understanding God's Word for yourself, no matter whether it is brand new to you or something you just need to brush up on, he would like to start a Bible study that's just for you—Growing In Hope.  You will be sure to enjoy meeting with other people and growing in your knowledge and faith together.  Talk to Pastor today!

SUNDAY SCHOOL/BIBLE STUDY  Our usual Sunday morning program of Bible Study and Sunday School at 9:30 AM is taking a brief holiday for July and August.  Make plans to make this spiritual growth a part of your life starting this fall!

L.I.F.E. WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY - Thursday Mornings - 9:30 AM!  Come grow in God's Word with other women!

BENEVOLENCE  Cross of Life maintains a fund to assist members of our community in times of extraordinary need.  If you wish to make a special contribution to this fund, please indicate "benevolence fund" on your offering.  If you are aware of someone in need of assistance, please speak to Pastor in confidence, so that the situation can be addressed.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BECOMING A COMMUNICANT MEMBER here at Cross of Life, we would love to go through a few Bible studies with you to share what this means of God’s grace is all about and why it is so important.  Pastor is willing to set up these Bible classes in any setting that would be most comfortable for you – single, couple, group, your home, the church office, etc.  We can always find a time that will work!  Talk to Pastor Schulz today!
